my father takes the following medicine Oleanz RT 10(olanzapline), estopam-10(escitalopam oxalate tablets), cap. preganerve-m(Preagabalin with mecobalamin) he complains of heavy head and lays on bed all day.kindly suggest something to help in releif. ## Has he consulted his doctor? Generally, it's not recommended to try to treat possible side effects with another medication, because they all carry the risk of causing side effects, so you can just end up compounding the problem. The Olanzapine is an antipsychotic and it is well known to cause these types of side effects, so it may be the culprit. He really needs to speak to his doctor, because it may be too high of a dosage for him and he may require a switch to a lower dosage or a different medication. Both the Escitalopram and the P...

My son is in a drug rehab program and he is random tested. He was told he was positive for benzodiazipine in his urine. Would any of the three medications above indicate those results? He swears he has not taken anything else. ## benzodiazepines are mostly psychotropic and sleep inducing drugs; similar to the drugs you have listed. i am not familiar with Galapentin, however Olazapine & Sertraline have similar characteristics to benzodiazepine type drugs. If he is in a treatment program, it is likely they have put him on some sort of antidepressents to help him get better. Maybe that is why it showed. I would speak with his counselor. ## The Benzodiazepine class of drugs includes medications like Xanax and Ativan. Gabapentin. Olanzapine and Sertraline are not related to this drug cla...

These medications haven't been known to cause any issues with men and their sperm count, so there shouldn't be any problem. how to get off Olanzapine drug. What other non addictive medication or nutrients can be taken to ameliorate the side effects of olanzapine withdrawal. ## Hi Elizabeth, Have you ever considered trying medical marijuana as a means of helping you get over much of those withdrawal symptoms? If anything, I think it could at least help you cope mentally and emotionally with it until the other symptoms begin to subside. That is just my theory based on personal experience. But I know everyone reacts and responds different to treatment, so perhaps it would be best to discuss this with your doctor if your state is one that allows the use of cannabis?

Like in the subject, I have a couple of these pills and I can't identify them. I got them in Canada and most databases contain mostly US medications. They are white, round, with 0z5 or oz5 imprinted on one side, and nothing on the other. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find this listed anywhere, either. I do have some Canadian resources, but it isn't turning up in them, either. Have you tried asking a pharmacist? If it is an over the counter product, it may be difficult to identify, since they aren't required to list their imprints. Does anyone else recognize this? ## OLANZAPINE 5MG TAB, I am in Ontario, I take them before bed with a meal
