Will nystatin help with my acne? I don't get it very bad. Just a couple pimples, but my chest and back are worse than my face. They get tiny white heads. Will this help or make it worse? I have a groin rash , itching all the time sometimes small boil like lesions will breakout , it looks like ringworm or some kind of fungal rash, sweating will make it itch very bad , parts of my groin are reddened with a marked outline of ringworm like breakout . ive tried garlic , diluted bleach ,terrisil , ting nystatin , tea tree oil , bathing in salt water different powders etc etc nothing seems to help , anyone got any ideas? ## Hello, Rusty! Dermacombin cream contains Nystatin, Neomycin, Ganicidin and Triamcinolone and it is actually advised that it not be used extensively in pregnancy, because there is some risk of it causing some complications. If you need something for a fungal, or bacterial infection of the face, your doctor should be able to advise you on what is safest for you to use.

I was given this med for thrush. I have been on predisone for emphesema and I developed thrush. I got a headache and dizziness. ## This is more than one medication, are you saying you were given all of these? The Nystatin is an antifungal medication, so it is appropriate for treating Thrush, since it's an oral yeast infection. The Diphenhydramine is sometimes given, if the yeast infection is causing dizziness, since is an antihistamine. However the other 2 are not normal treatments, so you would need to ask your doctor why they prescribed them. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic and that's probably what caused the headache and dizziness. And the Tetracycline is an antibiotic, these are not usually given, because they can cause, or worsen these types of infections.

This medication has caused me sever tounge pain. sore tender and all white. My infection has cleared up but my mouth hurts realy bad feels like a=i have a large amount of acidity inside. ## This medication dis the same to my husband who was taking it for a UTI, bladder and kidney infection.
