This is the name brand Novox, generic Carprofen. It is an NSAID or non-steroidal anti-imflammatory used for things such as osteoarthritis in dogs and other animals. I could not find any side effects for it.

I found a pill in my daughter's room. It's peach and oblong with novox on one side and 75/mg on the other. I was wondering if it could be a generic brand of Vicodin?

It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, the FDA warns that the side effects in a canine might be similar to those in human, so it could cause nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation, which your dog might not be able to communicate, so it is best to keep a close eye on them.

Child, are there any other markings on the tablet? I can't find anything that only has that marking on it. Can you please post back and clarify/ Thank you!
