I was wanting to know about this durg, because I am doing a research on AIDS and I found that this drug was once tried for AIDS and I was wondering why I didn't work.

I am not sure if you mean Nonoxynol-9 - but it has been used as a contraceptive agent and to treat certain viral infections up to a certain point. Studies of Nonoxynol-9 had shown that it was not effective against HIV virus.
