Is isosorb dinitrate10 mg a form of nitrostat 0.4mg ## Hello, Smit4car! How are you? No, these are two different medications. Nitrostat actually contains Glyceryl Trinitrate, better known as nitroglycerin, much esteemed for its quick action in treating heart issues and being able to be taken as needed. But Isosorbide is used mainly to treat angina and it is a medication that is taken regularly to prevent, not to just treat once an attack starts. Is there anything else I can help with?
