Nikoran 5 Alternatives

I sometimes have pain on right side of my chest. It travels to the back where it is more severe. The pain comes and goes irregularly. Dr. has prescribed Nikoran 5, but that is of little help. My question: Is there any food item that reduces the blocked arteries. My arteries have 50% blockage.

After my Angioplasty using balloon only, i was prescribed Nikoran 5mg twice daily. It had to be stopped after 2 days as it gave me severe headache. Kindly let me know do i need to use a substitude.
