Hellom Mzmarty! How are you?

And no, the government is not allowing any generics to be released any time soon. They were removed from the market in order to make it easier to keep track of the supply, since this medication is so frequently abused and, at this time, there are no plans to change this.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Thank you for the info. If you hear of any changes please let me know. I am sooooo broke. Paying over $5000.00 a year on meds is crazy. I hate this, I have dipped in my retirement money too many times. I don't know what I am going to do. Thanks again Mamarty. p.s. I wish you the best.

I will have to pay $2100 a month as I was getting patient assistance from Purdue, but now since Obama care is out they are cutting all assistance. Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare plans will only cover one month out of the year for brand name. What do I do??!!

This is so wrong, people that really need it are in pain! Just because the law enforcement can't do their job real people in pain suffer every day! I pay so much money every month to get enough relief just to walk. This is soooooo bad! I can't even find the words. It does not make sense. You don't penalize the people that are in pain! Why is the government doing this? The druggies are still getting their dope! They don!t care about how much it costs they get it any way they can. By robbing us for the money! Our government is stupid!!!!!!! They make good people suffer just to make a point and the pharmaceutical companies rich!

No never heard about generic oxycontin ever coming back to the U.S. I'm aware that they have it in Canada but was wondering about other countries. They came off the shelves here in August 2010. Basically at the end of 2010 everyone I knew wouldn't get scripts for them anymore because they were too hard to find. I amazingly came up on some in November 2011 after a year of not having them. To my surprise on this past Sunday 5/18/14 I came up on a generic oxycontin :). I was doing my usual running around driving with some of my drug addict buddies and this guy who was staying at this hotel with my buddies connect had them. He gave me one for driving him around on a few errands. Today I drove him around desperate for another. He gave me some black tar as a substitute today but tomorrow he needs another ride and supposedly he will finally toss me another one. He is selling them for 80 bucks and they practically are non existent in the US so I don't mind doing all the favors for it. I just hope he comes through tomorrow. I wanted to hold onto the last one he gave me on Sunday for novelty and do it after I'd been clean for a while so I get really high when I do it. That didn't happen and my rationalization was that I needed to try it because I wasn't sure it was real. Sure enough it was real. So bomb :). I wanted to try and hook some for other people but at 80 dollars nobody was able to make it worth it for me to do it for them as far as me getting compensated something for middle manning it. One of my buddies who could have got one and taken care of me too is out of town unfortunately. All i did by telling people was make people real jealous and fiendish. Best not to tell anyone because I definitely ruined some peoples day. Anyways I hope I get one again tomorrow after helping this guy and hopefully I am able to stash it away for a while without touching it. The 80s this guy has are going to be gone real soon and after that I may never see them again. I asked if they came from Canada. He said they were not from Canada but were from somewhere out of the country but he didn't know where. I was curious what other countries have generic 80's besides the US?
