Epclusa Ruined My Life (Page 9)

Has anyone experienced severe anxiety, constant crawling feeling in body after epclusa treatment. Its like my brain and body aren't working right anymore? I had terrible side effects. Finished in January, now it's June and feels like I'm still taking the poison.

Hello. Carmichael is really just a suburb of Sacramento.
Population about 50,000.Way off the beaten path.
I live about a quarter mile from The American River.
Its very hot here and sometimes the river breeze helps.
My elbows are fine. Its my wrists and a few fingers that ache.
I really believe I would have been better off without Epclusa. It has ruined my life.
I still remember how I started feeling a few hours after taking it.
I felt like I was poisoned. Truly.
I had much lab work done last week.
My viral load is still zero. So in a way it did its job. But destroyed me too.
Please tell me the name of your town so I may look it up.
I think of you and share our conversations with my friends.
I hope weather clears up for you.
In California we always welcome the rain.
I am watching a tv series called Dowton Abbey. Ever hear of it?

Does anyone have neuropathy after doing hcv Epclusa or Harvoni treatment? Thanks. I have extreme pain in my feet and legs.

Hi Susie I finished treatment about 2 yrs ago,my legs still aching most days feet numb but feel like burning plus nausea ECT don't think will ever get better now ,hard to find any help here in Australia ,wish I never started treatment would have rather lived out my life as it was.hope your problems improved please let me know.

Downtown Abbey yep saw it was great series ,I didn't think I would like it at first but then really enjoyed it!! I live in small town on North coast of New South Wales (that's a state )called Coraki, it's on the net plenty flood pictures ,the town is on a river which makes it nice sometimes breeze off water ,it's about 8 miles to the coast ( Pacific Ocean ) and about 25 miles from Nimbin that's a kind of little hippy town painted bright colours I think similar but smaller then your Haight Ashbury, Coraki is only small town ( try not to laugh ok ) I'm sitting back in front of little electric heater it's 5. 30 am and I'm trying to stop my feet from aching, my dr has no idea, the more I read about neuropathy the more it sounds like my symptoms everybody says I'm getting all these symptoms from having virus for so long ,seems strange to me that everything started getting worse after Epclusa,my VL has also gone it was very high pre treatment so I guess that's good , but I think being high may have done damage ,as for the DAAs I just don't know, I think I'm lucky to have lived this long ,a lot of friends didn't ,sounds like a great place where you live IV lived in Coraki for about 10 years, I m from Sydney that's a capital city grew up and went to school there ,can't say know anybody much in Coraki ,I think would have to live here 50 years before accepted as a local ,that's ok ,anyway hellow to your friends ,great to get reply ,hope your aches sent to bad,lucky it's warming up for you!! getting cold here ,but nice break from the summer heat ,I just hope we don't get any floods this year we are due to have one ,take care .

Lol. Haight Ashbury is all commercial now. Used to go there in 60s. Smoked lots of cannabis, listened to music and danced in the streets. Now yuppies own stores. High end restaurants and apple stores. I only live 90 miles from San Francisco so have visited many times over the years. Now homeless crap everywhere and sleep on the streets. Things changed. Sorry you are sitting in front of heater for your feet. Thing is, I didn't even know I had hep c for fourty years until tested. So taking Epclusa made me worse. Crazy.. How many people in your town? Sorry they are snobby to you. Their loss. It's hotter than hell here. 7:30 at night and a/c wont give enough coolness. Made tacos and rice for dinner. Ever eat tacos? Most people in California eat mexican food as the Mexican border is so close. Take care. Hope your feet get warm.

Sounds like you had fun in Haight Ashbury !!yep tacos are good I like Mexican food ,food use to be boring in Australia when I was young,then we started getting migrants in and everything improved food included, sounds hot where you are ,I sure know how that feels ,I was told last summer if feeling real hot try putting feet in cold water ,or maybe even a wet towel or cloth around neck ,can't say I'm looking forward to summer ,I think this is a bit of a redneck town so don't mind not mixing much,I think the hotel is the main place people go,as I don't drink I don't go there ,lol ,Carmichael sounds like good place ,it must be interesting being near Mexico border ,Lismore is nearest bigger town takes me about half hour to drive ,seems to be more an more people sleeping in parks and on the streets it must be real cold atm it's terrible to see some are real young,use to see the odd homeless old guy, but now it's young people it seems ,this was suppose to be a short hello ,so hope your wrists arnt too bad and you can get some cooler weather ok .take it easy.

Hi. How are you doing post Epclusa? I've also been having neuropathy problems, shortness of breath, numb feet, nausea. That's about half I think. It's getting late but I'm too tired to think. I bought creme yesterday. It has capsicum or chilli in it. Now my feet feel worse on fire. Middle of winter here now, so not much fun with side effects. Anyway, hope you are ok. Take care. Hi, just a short message. My feet ached so much last night I had to buy some ointment put it on my feet, then read where it's made from chillies! Really feels like my feet are on fire now. I've tried standing in water and putting other cream on it but nothing works. On the label it said it may take 3 or 4 weeks to stop pain in my feet. I'm suppose to put it on my feet 3 times a day. No way am I going to use it. Good night.

Oh so sorry about your feet. Epclusa strikes again.
Seems like you and I would have done well without Epclusa.
I am exhausted all day everyday.
It just took all joy out of my life.
I have always been upbeat.
Friendly, open and community minded.
I now want to stay home away from most people because it seems easier.
I never felt this way until about a few weeks in to taking Epclusa.
Its sad you and I areva world away. You are my fruend and I would very much like to talk with you in person.
Im not hitting on you so dont be scared off.
Im way to old for romance but feel like we could be buddies.

I'm same,I think as we get older it's harder to find people I can be bothered trying to get to know sometimes that is just easier being bit anti social sometimes lol ,I really enjoy our little raves ,really interesting ,your not that old I think Rolling stones are in 80s lol ,it's good comparing what we've been thru ,awful as it was ,sometimes I wonder if maybe could have been worse if we didn't do treatment so hard to say ,anyway Kathleen at least we have survived this far ,a lot of people didn't ,stay safe, ok might try get some sleep feet have finally near stopped burning from silly chilli ointment I bought .now I can't Evan use it.oh well!!

Funny. I've never thought of myself as interesting. Just full of life stories.
The racial tension in usa so scarey right now.
Mostly it the people against police brutality.
So all colors are banding together to march against police.
There are fringe groups that are against black people but they are out numbered.
I surely thought that by now in life that we would look at each other as just vulnerable humans.
Before Epclusa I would have been very socially active about the state of things but Epcluse took all strength and joy from my body.
Im sorry you are sufferung so.

Hi. i've been sending you a message for 20 mins, then I lost my message. maybe it will automatically go to you. hope so or its lost in space, lol. I was just saying how I was reading a forum from a guy from Texas who was praising the govt bla bla, sounded to me like he was stirring up trouble. I was near going to say something on the forum but not worth it. I would probably get swamped with pro Trump supporters lol. i've got to go to the drs next week. If I've got a problem he rings the liver clinic. They tell him Epclusa is great and it wouldn't cause any problems. I've been telling him, of course they would say that, they started me on Epclusa. I was reading where there's a link between neuropathy that's nerve muscle problems and having hep C. Kind of makes sense to me (numb sore feet). Anyway, I had to go see a neurologist last year. I asked my dr months ago if he had heard from him. He told me he hadn't. As I'd been getting neck pain and I was getting pressure on my nerves. Anyway, drs surgery rang me and told me they found the report from my neurologist tucked away somewhere! Anyway, I'm hoping the report says pressure on nerves in neck is causing neuropathy (feet leg problems), plus I will show him an article depicting the link between the virus and neuropathy. I hope you could understand all that. Get back to you after.

Hi, hope you are doing ok with summer heat. It's the opposite here. Getting freezing cold days are usually nice, but once the sun goes down it gets real cold here. Unfortunately looks like dam coronavirus is starting up again over here. I can't evan get into a dr's surgery ATM. All appointments done over the phone. Kind of makes it hard to try find out about breathing issues and other symptoms. I guess that's the way it goes. Cold weather affects my breathing heaps. Strange thing is breathing was not too bad till I did treatment (like most things). Anyway, hope you can stay cool and stay out of crowded places. I was just thinking it would be great if we didn't have to fly places. It would be great if we could just get in a car and drive, no planes. Take a few weeks to get over your part of world, plus would create work building the road. Oh well, will never happen I guess, just a thought.

Maybe when covid19 gets a grip I can fly to see you.
I want to have a luve Epclusa forum but cant do it until covid under control.
Just had first covid test yesterday and results today were negative. Im so relieved but..I dont go anywhere that does not involve groceries or doctors.
U have to have some sort of flourascope test on thursday. Have to drink barium while they take timed xrays as barium goes through digestive track. All of these things happened after Epclusa.
Do you know any other people in your area that have had Epclusa?
Its hotter than haties here.
Then we have 24/7 news about our corrupt lying president..adding to health issues here im sure.
If he gets reelected I might just be your neighbor. I can only stomach so mych poison.

Hi hope not to hot for you ,I watched USA news this morning looked hot ,how did you go with barium that's not much fun either ! either is coromavirus test I had one couple weeks ago,middle of winter here now cold nights days arnt that bad,I'm just watching bit of late night tv ,hard to get more then few hours sleep ,I don't know about where you are but tv viewing bit boring so many reality shows ,just watched Kojak that must be 50 yrs old now columbos on ,think will put radio on , no I don't really know anyone else whoes done Epclusa couple of younger people ,but don't know how they went ,hope you are going ok,I use to think winter would be better for me then summer but I'm not sure now the heat is very exhausting but winter is bad for aches an pain ,I just don't know anymore this breathing thing IV got on top of everything else is really starting to exhaust me,plus find it hard to talk to my dr , try stay cool take care ok. I'm getting sleepy mite try sleeping mite be lucky.

Sounds like you and I are like twins. We shared the first births of Epclusa.
Our lives are so similar with Epclusa being reason.
The barium fluroscopy was awful.
Never want to have that again.
Well today is 4th of July. Independence day in America.
Trump has tried to start a racial war. Spewing hate speach today.
120 days until we vote him out.
I see Australia is in lock down again.
Be safe.
I dont leave home unlesd dr visit or groceries.
Since Epclusa my physical ability to stand for long periods of time have made it hard to enjoy outings.
I wish I could reach others to warn them.
Hopefully people will see this forum and educate well before starting.

Hi Kathleen, hope the 4th of July was a good day for you. Yes we get a lot of news from USA. I really can't understand why Trump hasn't been impeached yet. Australia and USA are close allies so we kinda have to hope he does the right thing. It's gotten to the stage where I don't like watching the news much these days, but I still do. Last night's news showed him partying with that guy who was involved with underage girls and Prince Edward I think, oh dear, seems whenever there is somebody good they end up assassinated. Not fair, like a lot of things these days!! My gas ran out this morning so I had to go get a refill. Seems like gas bottles are getting heavier but they're not, just seems like that some days. I'm just getting weaker lol. It said on the weather today we are going to get a rain period in a week. I hope it knows when to stop and we don't get a flood. It's not unusual this time of year. Yea we doubt trump will be re elected. His core base are hateful and evil. Though he had a base, they are deserting him. Yes the Epstien thing eas..is big news. Pictures of trump and the prince are a reminder of what money can do. I think trump will contest the election if he loses.

Anyway, Epclusa is probably why you are so weak. What did you mean you had to get gas? For your auto or something else? Sure wish you had some help there.
