Neoral is listed as containing the active ingredient Cyclosporine, it is an immunosupressant. It was originally isolated from a fungus in 1969, so it's actually not new. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, gum enlargement, peptic ulcers and pancreatitis. What types of symptoms have you experienced from taking it?

I have been on neoral for almost one year it has helped my skin disease by 50 percent but I have suffered many consequences. I now have high blood pressure and I'm on another med. My gums are bad and I'm getting gum disease. I now am up 6 times a night going the bathroom I'm getting worried and wondering if I should just go off it or will my skin disease come back full force ## Hi tara, Depending on the type of skin disease you have, it seems as though you may be better off with a more natural alternative that gets the job done without these unwanted side effects.
