I have been using this meds to clear up a slight ear infection and I now notice that my tongue is a bit sensitive and mt taste is not what ir was. Can this med cause this?

on my first day of using neomycin dexamethason hydrocortisone ear drops,at the end of the day, my gums feels sensitive, now when i woke up this morning, it is including my neck,, and there is tinging in my right ear where i am putting the medicine,, should i discontinue now? i am uncomfortable .

Hello,

The only side effect I've read about that is similar to what you are both experiencing (Paul and Teresa) is inflammation around the mouth, and possible swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. Therefore, what you are both experiencing could be a side effect, or a possible allergic reaction. I would consider speaking with a doctor about these reactions if they persist or become worse.
