What is the highest doseage of Loratabs..and their colors..Private duty aide and found some pills..Need to know about it..

Well, without your posting the imprint on the pills, I cannot tell you for sure what they are, see the only FDA guidelines for pharmaceuticals in the US says they must have a unique imprint for ID purposes on each pill, which will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even within one company according to dosage, that way all pill scan be indentified in case of an emergency.

There are no proprietary guidelines having anything to do with size, shape, or color of any pills, capsules and etc. That is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. So once a pill is available for generic production, it can look however they want it to look. So not all pills of the same type and dosage will be the same color, size, or shape.

Right now, there are literally hundreds of generic versions on the market or Lortabs, and each one, even if the dosage is the same, can look different and have a different imprint. They come in a whole rainbow of colors as well.

So not all white ovals are Lortab, not all pink ovals are Darvocet and etc.
