Need Private Md In Belleville Illinois Or St. Louis Missouri That Will Prescribe Methadone.

Used to live in Jacksonville, Fl and was on a methadone clinic, but a friend introduced me to an MD who could do it privately. This turned out great! However, I had to move to a small town and the closest cities are either Belleville, illinois or st. louis, missouri. I've looked everywhere for a private md, and have had to turn to finding whatever pills I can on the street. Can anyone please advise of any private md's I can go to. Otherwise I'm going to either go broke, jail, or rehab. Theses are not options obviously. So, someone please help!

Have you found a dr to help you. My doctor is retiring in a month and after 3 yrs no one wants to help me! I'm disgusted with our medical community that they totally dismiss people in chronic pain. What's worse is A DOCTOR IS THE ONE THAT HURT ME IN A FAILED SURGERY! I'm tired of everyone talking about drug seeking behavior! I'm in pain, a doctor hurt me and now I'm treated like crap. How is this right. I need a doctor that will continue my Methadone and Oxycodone. Or give me something to have a normal life. I have NO QUALITY OF LIFE.

The doctor should have prescribed a partial fill of your meds to hold you until your next rescheduled appointment. If this is a legit doctor prescribing these 3 scheduled narcotics for 10 years you should have absolutely no problem what so ever especially since it was him that needed to reschedule your appt. No other doctors or facilities will get involved; your doctor is obligated to appoint an on call MD DURING HIS ABSENCE SHOULD EMERGENCIES ARISE while he is away from the area. Call his office for direction.
