Nebivolol Stoppage After Long Term Usage
UpdatedI have been taking Nebivolol 2.5 mg for 10 years to control hypertension. Can it cause cough which is persisting despite treatment. My physician says beta blockers at times cause chronic cough which goes if this medication is stopped and alternative medication taken for high BP. Is this true should I stop it to try out this hypothesis. Also more important can it be suddenly stopped or tapered off over a period to avoid a rebound after the body is used it over such a long period. Early advice will be appreciated.
