Dear staff,
Can you please tell me what the drug Narcogin forte 650mg/30mg is please? Is this a codeine based medication and if so is this 650mg of Codeine and 30mg paracetamol? I have found this medication in the home of an elderly patient i am caring for and would like to know just what it is and which percentage is codeine.Your assistance would be greatly appreciated as i am not familiar with this drug in our country.

its pretty close to hydrocodone from usa. i have bad back and got it from india which is the only country which makes it. Narcogan forte is codene and acetaminophen based. i came from yesterday and here are the ingredients on back of medicine. Acetaminophen 650 mg, Codeine 30 mg. 10 tabs for rupees indian 78.00 (about US $2.00). It is good for my back pain as i have rods in my back due to accident
BUT do not use it too often only in excessive pain. ALSO as it has codeine i feel drowsy after taking medicine should be taking at afternoon nap or at night. hope this info helped

Narcogin Forte contain 30mg of Codeine and 650mg of Paracetamol (Acetaminophen). This med is used for serious Pain.
