I recommend do n a search on duck duck go or some other search engine ..... type in what foods help prevent inflammation pain ...... then do a second search typing in ...
What foods cause joint inflammation & pain .... I have done this a couple times due to my chronic pain issues due too ddd & did ..... dr says osteoarthritis .... I keep telling them it is more likely psoriatic arthritis due too severe outbreaks in my 20 somethings .... but due too my weight they refuse too listen .... kinda like that episode of house when the 400 pound (I am no where near that heavy but I am obese) ... anywho the staff on house kept wanting too blame the fat guys med issues on weight related issues such as diabetes & such .... turns out it was something that had nothing to do with his weight issues .
.... Drs are only human yes they are educated to what is most likely the issue but that does not make it so .... go & get info from dr & then research all received info ...
Your health should be your #1 priority for sure .... but do confirm all suggested treatments .....

Are you referring to joint inflammation?

If so, you might be able to use something topical, such as Voltaren Gel, since even thought it contains the NSAID Diclofenac, it isn't absorbed like those you take orally.

I can't take them regularly, either, due to high blood pressure, so my doctor suggested I try the gel for my arthritis pain, and it works very well.

Voltaren details.

Generics are available and the typical side effects are usually related to its topical use, and may include skin redness, irritation, and dryness.

What has your doctor suggested you use?

Watermelon & other foods that fight inflammation do a search on foods that fight inflammation....... diet can be used to fight many things that attack your body ..... but also remember diet of the wrong foods can also make your body react in bad ways so also do a search for foods that cause inflamation .... I know this sounds overly simplified and it is not as simple as it seems because some foods that are beneficial for one infliction may aggravate another issue .... my major issue is weight which is terrible for inflammation of the joints ....
Hope this is helpful
