Rassel Says:

I have severe multiple myeloma pain on my hips, more so on my left side. A steel pin has been inserted from my hip to my knee and screwed to the bone and spine-cemented. NO CONTROL OF THE PAIN. ONLY MINOR IMPROVEMENT. I have been taking MS Contin 30mg and Codeine phosphate 2 tabs twice a day.

Has your doctor considered trying you on Oxycodone, or Fentanyl? I am not a doctor, but they are a couple of stronger options you can ask your doctor about trying.

The NIH warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache.
