I have SPMS that is rapidly progressing. I was so hoping for positive results from Ampyra, but it actually made me worse because of my balance--or lack thereof. I'd forgotten that was a side effect. I have a bladder infection now so my neurologist told me to stop taking it. It didn't do anything for my spasticity either but instead of drawing my legs up, they extend straight out and I can't bend them. However, like any medication, it does help some and not others, they just don't work for everyone. Has your doctor suggested an alternative? ## I have had psms for 32 years. I still work but use a walker at wo...
