Monocef-O contains the active ingredient Cefpodoxime, which is a Cephalosporin class antibiotic that's used to treat infections and if she has no infection present, then it will not help and actually creates some risk, because it can cause side effects or an allergic reaction.

Unless her doctor has said there is some infection that requires an antibiotic, then it's better to stay away from them.
