I just had a prescription filled for the first time by a new pharmacy and after doing some research on the med. I discovered that what was printed on the tablet did not match the description from the internet. It is a blue round tablet with west-ward 787 written around it. Is this O.k. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it. ## Yes your pill is Fioricet. The ingredients in Fioricet are Acetaminophen 325 mg, Butalbital 50 mg, and Caffeine 40 mg. They are indicated for the treatment of tension headaches and muscle contraction headaches. To learn more about these drugs click on the link below... Excedrin is for 1. back, 2, sinus, 3 migraine, etc. All appear to have the same or almost the same formulation. I take it for the onset of sinus migraines. Works beautifully and sinuses drain within 30 min, usually preventing migraines. In the rare case Excedrin doesn't work, I have Imitrex on hand.

I need to know how to break an addiction to fiorinal ## Fiorinal contains Aspirin, Caffeine and the Barbituate Butalbital. What kind of withdrawal effects you may experience depends on how long you have been taking it and how much you have been taking. I suggest speaking to your doctor. ## Doctors recognize that both physical and pyscholgical addiction may develop from prescription medication use, even following prescribed doses. It is not your fault. Please get help from recognized addiction treatment providers, including your own doctor. One may also develop medication overuse headache or MOH from too-often used meds. Breaking this cycle may be difficult, but can be done with help. Please ask for that help :) You deserve it. God bless. ## Regular use of medication results in what is c...

There are two pills, and I think they are antibiotics? but could be mood pills. 1) Oblong, powder pink colour--it is NOT a capsule; 3/4 long, about 1/4fat (deep), and just over 1/4 wide. One side says largely: APO and the other says 500 . There is also a raised band, same colour and everything as the rest, going lengthwise all the way around right in the middle of the side. 2) This might be the same drug, smaller dose: Same shape, same band around the middle sides, but 1/2 long, 1/4 wide, and below 1/4 fat. It's bright red, the same colour of the ok and submit buttons on this site. Apo on one side, 125 on the other. By the way, this is coming from Canada (just to make it extra hard) I hope someone can help!! Thanks. ## APO 500 is a Divalproex 500mgs, a generic for Depakote, used to ...

What is it prescribed for? I have low blood pressure and lightheadedness. Will it help? Local pharmacists don't have it. Where can I get it? ## Midrin is a combination drug containing Acetaminophen, Dichloralphenazone and isometheptene. It is most commonly prescribed to treat headaches. The reason your doctor probably prescribed it for you is the Isometheptene is vasoconstrictor, meaning it shrinks the blood vessels, so yes, it could help raise your blood pressure. As to where to get it, I can only suggest calling pharmacist in surrounding areas and seeing if any of them carry it or will order it in for you. ##

I took Butapap with caffeine approx 27 hours before I had a random drug test, will it show? ## Since the drug you are referring to Acetaminophen + Butalbital + Caffeine is prescribed for migraines, then if you can show that you have a prescription for it you should be fine. The only thing is that Butalbital is a barbiturate, so if the drug test is looking for barbiturates then it would come up positive. But it's not like you would have narcotics in your system or anything heavy like Oxycodone, so if you can simply explain your migraine situation they should understand. Good luck! Roy ## The other thing to note is that Butapap is not exactly the same drug as what you had described above (but/apap/caf). It has the same ingredients, just without the caffeine. A popular brand name for t...

My husband just started on Depakote they upped him to 2000mg a day all in one dosage at bed time. He is having many problems with siezures wanting to start. He sees the light effect, feels dizzy, and is having headaches along with some vision problems. Is this normal when starting on Depakote. He has had his blood tested and they upped it to 2000 mg. recently. He had three episodes today. What do we do? ## Here's the monograph with more information: It sounds like he may be suffering from both normal and unusual side effects, he really needs to talk to his doctor and explain them all, they may need to lower his dosage or try a different medication.

oval white ## Is this your pill? Pill Image You didn't say if there was a logo on it, or not, along with the letters. If this is the correct pill, this is Depakote Extended Release (Valproic Acid) 250mgs, a very potent antipsychotic medication.

bluish in color also said it has a mint or fresh shell ## This is Depakote 250mg, extended release. It is typically used for seizure disorders though has been used for behavior problems, some anti-psychotic issues, and anxiety issues. Side effects include severe drowsiness, dizziness, heaadache, stomach cramping. ## Nothing to play with if it isn't prescribed for you, this is a very potent drug, and its usage must be very closely monitored by a doctor. They have to maintain it in a very delicate balance that requires regular urine or blood testing to make sure there isn't too much or too little, and if you do not suffer a condition requiring this med, you will create serious trouble for yourself if you take it. I know some people like to abuse it, but I can never understand why,...
