Hi Tammi Morris,

I'm having a hard time finding any concrete information about the Estrogen-Methyltestosterone TB, is there any information about it labeled on the package it came in? The only conclusion I can come to based on my current knowledge and previous research on medications of this kind, is that the Estrogen-Methyltestosterone TB might be a slightly different dose than the FS variety. The differences and side effects you are experiencing could also have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand.

I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior notice.

Have you tried discussing this issue with your doctor yet?

It stands for tablet, or depends on the manufacturer how they do it. I am 40 and have been taking since i was 27. You may be out of sorts because they no longer make the name brand Estrates, that was the best, this is a generic and unless you have been off it for a while and just went back on that could be your reason for emotions, make sure your dose was not changed. It bites, I know.

doctor changed w/out telling me. found out by accident, but legs are killing me so bad cant sleep, veins sticking out bad! have agreat moustache and am cranky beyond belief. was out of town so havent talked w doc yet but think my problems started w this new med. i had a complete hysterectomy years ago and was told i dont need progesteron just estrogen. i do usually take a more natural form, but this was changed without me knowing. the other was only estrogen 1 mg. i am very tired too and dont feel like being touched by anyone.

I have been taking Estrogen Methyltestos F.S. Tab, green oval tablet with IP 78 on it for many years, full hysterectomy 12 years ago . Called for a refill and the pharmacy said its was discontinued, Dr. gave refill for Estrogen Methyltestosterone TB, dark green oblong with 1490 on it. Been taking it three weeks, have had 3 migraine headaches and light headaches everyday. Stopped taking 4 days ago and headaches are gone. What should I do, cannot live with headaches everyday, if I don't take anything I start having night sweats.

I have only been on this medication for couple months. I was told it is a mixture of estrogen / testosterone and I was crying and moody and hated life. didnt want to deal with anyone. couldnt deal with anyone. have not had a period since 1 yr ago this Past Aug and started bleeding like a mild period again. but after being on this a few weeks now im not moody or crying or feeling bad. I have noticed a major increase in libido, almost too much. could have it all day and was told the bleeding is due to missing a couple doses and the hormone fluctuation. I hope you get to feeling better. Im not sure what the fs stood for though.
