My 18 yr old daughter got a prescript. for the above med and has never had ADHD. I think she told her dr. that she thought she had that, but really wanted it for weight loss and energy. It was filled on 2/1/10 and is now gone. ## Well, you have posted this almost 2 months after it was filled, so I really cannot comment on that, without knowing how large the prescription was, how many tablets were in it. It is a medication that is used daily. Have you tried talking to her about this? That may be the only way to get to the root of the problem, she may genuinely think she has ADHD. ## Did she lose weight? I take desoxyn for adhd and i wish my parents would have believed me, I would have had a better young life.

If im getting a blood test done in 2 months will methamphetamine still show? The last time I used was 2 days ago and I only did very litle ## Methamphetamine can only be detected in your blood for up to 1-3 days after your last dose. So you should definitely be in the clear, even as of now :) I hope this helps!

I have been clean of drugs for a year and four months. About a month ago I found a little bag of meth and poured it out in the commode it got on my fingers a little bit. I washed my hands with alchohol immediately can this make me fail a hair follicle test. ## Did you feel any effects of it? is there a drug that can cause a false hair methanphetimanes ## In all actuality there are quite a few different drugs (both over-the-counter & prescription) that can spawn a false positive for Methamphetamine. There are too many to list off, but you can get a good idea of some of the drugs that pertain to this, by following the link below: askdocweb.com/falsepositives.html NOTE: It's not just the drug that causes the false result, but more-over the faulty drug tests that are being used today. A lot of these standardized drug tests have a fairly high false-positive response, where it seems as though anything is likely to show up, no matter what you took. To my knowledge, false positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. I hope this info helps!

A friend of mine took 2 pills of what he thought was MDMA last night. After an Internet search and feeling weird effects he discovered that it was mostly methamphetamine. He took the last pill at 3 am friday morning and still hasn't slept. He has to be at work on Tuesday and a random drug test is always a possibility. How long will it stay in his urine an is there anything he can do to expedite the process? ## MDMA is a type of Methamphetamine. They say I tested pos for methamphetamine, that was just impossible. I feel like they are trying to get rid of me. I wasn't told to go to the Lab down the hall, I was told to go to the bathroom down the hall. They said my insurance wasn't covered wanted me to change it to DSHS I had to sign a waiver, yet they didn't have a problem with it on my last appt. This is the 4th Dr. I have seen at this clinic because their 'chronic pain' drs keep leaving. All this dr talked about while waiting (til the lab was closed) was illigal drugs. HOW DO I FIGHT THIS? I don't know them all, but asthma medications and allergy medications are common instigators. NOTE: The occurrence of false-positives are solely dependent upon the accuracy of the drug test and not in one bit due to the drug in and of itself. what is the generic or medication that has this in it. i tested positive for methamphetamines. i have a prescription of generic adderall dextramp-amphet and they said that would not test positive for meth amphetines ## From the online reports I am finding, the Adderall has been testing positive as Methamphetamine for quite a few people due to some really sensitive drugs tests. I found this white rectangle pill in our yard it has the word ice on it it also has a split mark I originally thought it was a mint but I licked it and its not mint. A little worried that there are more out in the yard and I have kids please help so I know if its dangerous ## Scott, that pill is methamphetamine. It's a street pill but not pharmaceutical grade. The dose is high enough that it could seriously harm and/or kill a small child. But it'll just make you want to clean the house.
