Methadone Pills Asc 116

How long do these pills last? I'm on 100mgs of pink liquid methadone from a clinic & I also got the tablets, so do I take all 10 pills at once if a 100mgs??? I don't know. Is it ok to take liquid & pills??? I need to know right away, I'm in withdrawal bad. HELP ME ASAP. How long do the asc 116 last? Thanks in advance.

If the pills are 10mgs than yes you take 10 so it would then be the equivalent of what you get at the clinic but I suggest you keep going to the clinic and just save those for an emergency like a day you can't go in and get medicated or something like that.

NO NO I don't think so - PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK what your exact dose of the liquid is at the clinic! It could very well be 10mg/ml and you could seriously risk overdosing yourself by taking 100mg worth of pills at once!!! I don't even know if they administer 100mg of Methadone under any circumstances, liquid or pill form. How many ml do you get during your infusions at the clinic? Is it 1ml or 10ml? Big difference, knowing that each ml you get contains 10mg of the drug. I'd be interested to know what you find. Stay safe and feel better!

They do administer that amount, I am on 150 Daily Dose.

Thank you very much for clearing that up - So am I correct in assuming that you get roughly 15 ml of the liquid during an infusion? And may I ask how long it takes (i.e. how much time you spend at the Dr's office getting the dose)?

It takes less then 1hr depending on how many other people are there and 15ml is not a even a minimum dose. Everyone gets started on 40mgs. This is here in New York. Am not sure how other states work, and after you drink it takes about 30mins to feel the effects.

I just have taken the 116 white pills and they seem to work fine for me and I've been on methadone for almost 6 yrs. hope that can help some people out here that want answers.

You can take either one or the other it's best to take it early in the morning everyday that's what works best for me I drink at 9 and I feel great all day I even sleep thru the night no night sweats if your on 100 then it's 10 pills whatever equals 100mgs I've been on 150 for the past 3 years and I feel amazing

She takes it as a opiate substitute treatment not for pain. Methadone has a dual usage protocol. One for addiction as a detoxification and or maintenance agent. Second for those with chronic severe or intractable pain conditions. Some claim it's effective for both. When used as the young lady does dosages are traditionally higher then as an analgesic property. INFUSIONS are not administered for maintenance purposes it's either tablet or liquid dosing. Parental administration is strictly prohibited for addiction treatment. The clinic I was affiliated with had an unlimited ceiling for daily in clinic dosing. The average daily dose was approx. 80 mg once stabalization was achieved. 30 mg was the standard initiation dose but some required as little as 20 while others as much as 200 mg. Why this dosage differential you may ask? Well There are many pharmacological variables that necessitate elevated dosing including metabolic rates, concurrent medications and history of usage (habit).

You seemed interested in the protocol for this very potent medication so I took the liberty to share my personal experience with this drug even though it's months old perhaps others may find it useful. Hope that clears up any misconception you may have had. Regards

Yes they give 100mg at the clinic and yes he would need to take ten to get the same effect

Yes it is 10mg per ml liquid unless ur getting extra strog witch clinics do not have so take 10 if u want

I was on 8 40mg methadone b4 they stopped prescribing the 40mg then I got 16 10mg a day and 140 mg from clinic and took it all at once depends on your tolerance mainly

They start some people on 45 or 50 if they have a history of fentanyl abuse. Typical starting dose is 25-40. I’ve been as far as 110mg (or .110ml I think).
