By the dea and fda guidelines or standards all pill's brand name or generic must have 85 percent of the main active ingredient in it in this case methadone/dolophine so any difference ain't enough for you to notice pain releif wise just the placebo effect working in the other direction

How much methadone have you ever taken? I think none, so unless you have actually taken it yourself, you only know what your book says about it.

I'm sorry friend. But I have been on dones for almost 14 years ok. I've tried every brand known to man. Although I have a couple favorites that I prefer. I recently again got the asc116 pills for the second month now and when you take these meds for long enough you can notice a difference in them as these ones are straight trash. I had to double up on them a few times already because they wersnt even cominf close to touching my pain as the other ones did. I prefer the oblong Mbox ones and the Roxanne tabs. These asc tablets are the worst methadone pill I have ever had and I called the pharmacy and tols am but they have hit there ceiling limit for a while so cant order anything different for awhile so I'm definitely100% changing places. I'll drive an hour farther if I have to rather then take these things another whole month. I already have to take an for three more weeks aa is. I cant f***ing believe these a**holes are able to get away with this. There's no way in he'll there putting anywhere near regulation active ingredient for 10mg in these tablets. There might be 25% SERIOSULY. On top of them not touching my pain while working all damn day everyday they just make me really tired. I an friggin furious with my pharmacy and the company who makes em. Its not right ans I found out that there getting so big now everywhere and why all the pharmacies are getting them is cause there so much cheaper to get. Exactly what my pharmacist told me straight up. Not cool. No wonder there so much cheaper to buy, there not even getting what there paying for, so the company is able to dispense them to pharmacies way cheaper than the competitors. I hope to the good lord people find a way to get these things outlawed and/or looked into so they can get caught. Honestly cannot believe there getting away with this. I also tried them last year and they were bad then too but now there even worse literally and I am being as honest as I possobly can. I've never been so mad at something such as this topic in all my years of pain management. Thanks you thieving con artist that obviously dobt care about actual pain issues alot of is suffer with that have jobs to take care of there families. I have been STRUGGLING this last week just to make it through thr day wit these garbage pills. My pharmacy closed down so I had to go to Walgreens again last month. Honestly the biggest mistake of the year. Thanks again Walgreens. Funny thing is they told me theyve har numerous people's complain about the sane thing but yet ain't doing s*** about it because there ""cheaper"" ahhh. Thanks everyone for reading my rant and my sincere apologies...

Does anyone else have issues with the brand of methadone pills they get from their pharmacy? I've realized that Mallinckrondt brand works best for me. Roxanne brand is complete junk. But im having trouble finding Mallinckrondt brand at any local pharmacies that will take my insurance. They all only carry Roxanne brand and can not order a specific brand which I think is completely ridiculous. I also read that a company called Aurobindo is trying to buy Mallinckrondt so that will mean the end of the one brand that actually works for me and my pain. I did just recently find a pharmacy that carries Aurobindo. I just got my prescription filled, so the jury is still out on if it will fit my needs, but honestly my hopes aren't high. Anyways, i just wanted to see if others are having the same issues. Thanks.

I have been on the wafers for a couple years now and started taking the asc116's and can tell absolutely no difference at all. Still help with my chronic pain just the same as the wafers did. As for myself, I am satisfied with this brand. I don't understand how they are putting some people into withdrawals but everyones system and how they react to different medications is different I guess. Good luck to all that this brand is not helping. Feel same for me.

These ASC116s are pure BS.. I prefer the little mells that are coffined shape but the round 54 over152s work also..But this stuff is straight out in out bull s#$&/....Been on methadone or 20 years now and these fools are ripping America OFF!!!! The clinics all got together and stopped manufacture of the 40 mg rose colored tabs for any Dr. could write them and clinlcs dont like that crap...Scrrw you you overpriced clinics and the gov. allowance you have...

I agree changing generics doe's make a difference some are just not a strong as others. I really noticed a big difference when my pharmacy changed brands on my morphine.
I recently received a Rx. from my DR. for methadone to be added to my others for pain. I can't even tell I've taken anything. My DR. doubled the dose so I will see if that works for me.

I disagree with you I have been on methadone over 30 years for CRPS and other painful Issues .Some drugs have more filler then others well couple months ago I Recived the same methadone asc116 and It did not help my pain also got sick started vomiting and felt like I was getting ready to go in withdraws.I called my pharmacy he said yes he had alot of patients complain about this same name drug said he was going to try not to get that no more sometimes you get what he can get and try to tuff it out well it was the worst month I had at only taking 40 Mg. and with my breakthrough pain medication but no it was not in my head and don't think it was for others so 10 MG does not always mean 10mg..so to say it may be in your head is rude crazy don't forget fillers take a big part in the medication not working or make u sick so with that need to look up about fillers in medication. My dr years ago used to only brand only Bc of all the fillers that were in some pain medications

I have to call BS on that I was taking 54 142 for 10+ yrs one day the pharmacy filled my script with another manufacturer I was taking my meds as usual and felt like I didn’t even take them I felt like I was going through withdrawals and everything that go with them many trips to the bathroom my lips were numb/tingling sweating through my sheets I was lucky enough that my DR wrote my another script after I took the useless generic to the doctors office.

I've taken methadone for 16 years and nobody can tell me that there isn't a difference. These 116 pills cause withdrawal symptoms. Anyone who has had to suffer without their meds knows the feeling. These unfortunately sneak up on ya , and you don't notice right off. You begin getting sweats and that anxiety feeling after a few days. I began thinking I was sick with something or had severe anxiety for no reason. I never thought about the pills not working until my pain finally caught up with the obvious decrease in methadone. This company is NOT putting 10 MG per pill I don't care what school you went to or your degree. Ask those like myself and listen to people, this medication is not working. Unfortunately I'm stuck with this brand for a month cause of shortages. Do yourself a favor don't buy this crap switch pharmaceutical companies. Now I'm hoping this has changed this is an old complaint site but last time I used these it was horrible.

Eric, over here it's a solution looks like urine. I've mentioned to clinic that it's definitely different, but they won't admit, I reckon it's a inferior brand that costs less for them so they can make more $s, we just get stuck with having to pay for it. Shouldn't be allowed to happen, it doesn't happen to people with other medical problems, no wonder they get dirty urine tests ! Everything has changed so much, think I prefered the old days, at least you knew would feel comfortable. Take it easy.

54 12 are lowest grade junk. 3 pills equal one mallinckrodt 10 pill.
The ASC brand i just got fir pain management was ok but now it feels way to strong. U usually only Take 20 mg daily unless it is a bad day for pain in which i may take 30-40.

That is not true. These companies Make junk half the time. Mallinckrodt was tge best normal ones on the market. Orgers are too weak or too strong

You are wrong. They put difderent fillers in these drugs. And half of ths meds niw are bootlegged in with us even know it from what i have eesearched. I take the meds fir 20 years low dose. I am sick. They are always different.
