I had no periods for the last 2 months so my doctor prescribed gynovit syrup. What is the use of it? Can it be taken along with metformin tablets also? ## From what I could gather, Grovit syrup is simply a multivitamin supplement for use in treating vitamin deficiency states as well as increased vitamin demands for pregnancy, lactation, growing children, and even severe infections. The Active ingredients in Grovit syrup are: Vitamin A (palmitate) + Vitamin B complex + Vitamin C + Vitamin D + Vitamin E Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Metformin and Vitamins. So in my honest opinion, you should be fine taking the two together. I hope this helps! ## Should we take gynovit syrup before or after food ## You have to take 10ml trice a day before food.. ## Whe...

In January 2013 - I recently purchased a subscription to the Health Sciences Institute (HSI) newsletter and got the book "Miracles from the Vault." I scoured the pages to find DBX-13 which they advertised as the diabetes miracle cure, and couldn't find it anywhere. I called HSI, and after three attempts and by threatening to take them to court for false advertising, a response finally came by email. DBX-13 is called X-Cravings. But get this... it is no longer being manufactured. X-Cravings appears to be a formula to help you stop craving food... a diet product... and I guess they apparently felt this would help you lose weight which would help your diabetes. I placed a call to the manufacturer of X-Cravings, Nutricology. Tel: (800)545-9960 who claims they don't know that...

Doctor put me on Metformin, two days after I started experiencing severe stomach pain and tinnitus in one ear. Went to ER, told it was side effects of this drug. I stopped taking Metformin. The stomach pain stopped but I still after 7 days have the tinnitus in my ear. I have read several forums that talk about ringing in the ears while on this medication. I started taking B12 to see if that would help but nothing so far. Has anyone experienced hearing loss after or while taking Metformin? My doctor never told me of this side effect. I think it should be shown as a definite side effect of this drug. ## Hello, Bill! How are you? I'm drinking as much water as I can to prevent dehydration, but it comes out as fast as I can get it in. My pharmacy seems not to care whether or not I get the SOLCO manufactured medicine.
