Metformin Anti Aging

Hi all,

I don't have diabetes, however I read that there's a lot of evidence that Metformin can slow the aging process as mentioned in this article among others:

I was wondering if there is anyone here who takes Metformin for this reason?

There's a 6 year study due to begin soon to look into the anti aging effects on elderly people, but I really don't want to wait 6 years for the results!

I've read about a possible side effect of stomach upset while your body adjusts to it, but it seems like its safe and very cheap. So I feel why not start taking it. I don't think I'd be able to get it on prescription though, as I do not have diabetes and its currently only licensed to treat that particular condition.
