Menstraul Cycle And Hair Loss

I was put on Xeralto due to PE and it made my hair fall out and have heavy and longer periods. My doctor is now putting me on Eliquis I wanted to know if anyone had any hair loss or heavy cycles on eliquis?

Yes, Eliquis risks causing the same side effects, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.

I have been taking eliquis since the end of april when i had hip replacement surgery. i've had no side effects at all. recommend Biotin for hair issues. I'm too old for periods.

Hi. I noticed heavier periods on warfarin and I got a mirena iud which was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I highly recommend talking to your obgyn about a mirena! I don't get any menstrual bleeding anymore and it's been fantastic! I'm here looking for info about switching from warfarin to one of the other anticoagulants, so I'd love any side effect info you've experienced, any fatigue?

Hello,
I did have hair loss on Eliquis. Luckily, I am off now. My blood clot is mostly dissolved. I am post menopausal, so no heavy periods. It does make sense, though. That must be the pits!
