What is it used for and does it have another name besides 02 on one side and Z on the other side? Some people say it's an opiate / narcotic. Is it? ## This medication is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Memantine, which is used to treat dementia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, confusion, and mood changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

dementia ## I was told by a friend that nomenda helped her father who has Alzheimer's type dementia. My husband has dementia plus other problems and I would like to know if this medication might help him. His dementia has recently worsened and anything that might help would be worth a try. ## Nomenda contains the active ingredient Memantine, it is approved to treat Alzheimer's Disease.
