Melmet 500 Having No Effect

I was diagonmised with diabetes and was haivng tje following readings:

GTT : fasting 106, 2 hours 198
Post paradinal : fasitgn 107, 2 hours 160
i was adviced melemt 500 and have been takign for 3 months.
But recently when i did a Psot Paradinal test i got readsings as follows even after taking tablet:
Fastin 116, 2 hours: 160
I expected to fall because i had same reading even before taking tablet and same life style
why could this be>

I hve pcod I got married on 2009 but till now I dint conceived I hve been medication for 3 yrs in between 6 mnths I stopped went for homeopathy, alopathy. In alopathy doc prescribed melmet 500 and other doc prescribed glyciphage 850. My insulin level 250 nd everything is normal can u pls guide me . My height i I'm un nd weight is 92 I'm unable to decrease my weight also
