Do low dose asprin effect the use medroxpr ac? ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Medroxyprogesterone and Aspirin; deeming them safe to take together. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. That said, you shouldn't be experiencing any problems outside of the normal side effects associated with each medication. I hope this helps to answer your question!

I am on APO-MEDROXY 10 mgs once a day for post menopausal abnormal bleeding. can this pill be cut in half and only 1/2 taken daily ? ## How long have you been taking it? Has it helped the bleeding, so far? You should probably consult your doctor, before making any changes to the dosage. There is a 5mg dosage that's used, but it really depends on your, your overall health, how severe the bleeding is and what's causing it and etc. Learn more about Medroxyprogesterone Details here. I also have to admit that I am not familiar with the APO tablet, so I am not sure if it is safe to cut in half. Is there any labeling on the bottle that warns against doing so?

We are trying to get pregnant, but I don't have natural periods. So, I was told to take Medroxypr Ac 10 mg every day for 10 days to start my period. My question is, after I've taken the last pill, when will I actually start my period? (in how many days) ## There is really no precise count that you can rely on, it may be the day after you take your last pill, or it may take several more days, it really all depends on your own body and how it reacts to the hormones. You're period may also be unusual, when it does arrive, you may bleed less or more than usual. It could also lengthen it or shorten its duration. Hormones can work differently on different people, which is why its difficult to determine which way any one person may go. Are there any other questions or comments? ## ...

I found this pill on the floor in my home and I would like to find out what it is. It's a small, round, peach-colored pill that has 2.5 on one side and a heart-shaped logo on the other side. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help! ## This is a Canadian tablet manufactured by PharmaScience, but it is difficult to determine exactly which one of their products it is. They actually have several with similar markings and colors. The closest I can find is a 2.5mg Medroxyprogesterone tablet, which is a hormone replacement pill. Is anyone else familiar with these tablets?

61 10 years post menopausal have had 5 o6 episodes of bleedind from pinkish discharge to heavy bleeding. dr rx'd me 5 Mg for 10 days. I am curious if it is safe. H have been a victim of guillian Barre and posibly a brain bleed 6 yrs ago ## Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor or pharmacist? Medroxyprogesterone is a hormone and it can increase the risk of developing blood clots, which could lead to stroke, so it may not be advisable in cases where someone has already had bleeding in the brain. You should really discuss it with your doctor to decide if the potential benefits outweigh the possible risks.

My Dr prescribed this medication for me cause I have a thick linen around the inside of my uterus. I have to start it the 12 day of my cycle and take it for 12 days. In April I started on the 6th and it lasted like a normal period. Then after I started the pill, a few days before I stopped the pill, I started my period again. But this time my period has as of today lasted for almost two weeks. So that is two periods in one month and now it is may and I am still on my period. Is this normal, cause I am getting really frustrated right now. I am suppose to start the meds again this weekend, but if I am going to have more than one period and it last forever, I don't want to take it no more. ## Medroxyprogesterone is a hormone and what you are experiencing are normal side effects of taki...

Can this medicine give you a UTI? I don't take baths, and it started 2 days after I started taking Medroxypr. ## Medroxyprogesterone is a hormone, commonly used in Contraceptives. It is not known to cause UTIs, however, there are other ways they can occur, it doesn't require taking a bath. They can also occur from eating something or having another medical condition that causes an imbalance and lets the infection set it. Sometimes they just occur for no known reason. You can read more about the medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with?
