Medroxypr Ac 10mg And Weight Gain

I take this medicine for heavy bleeding but I have gained soo much weight since after taking it. Is that normal?

I AM TAKING MEDROXYPR AC 10 MG TAB GENERIC FOR PROVERA 10 MG TAB IT STOP THE BLEEDING BUT IT CAUSES ME TO HAVE SO MUCH PAIN IN THE BOTTOM OF MY STOMACH WHAT COULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN

the doctor prescribed medroxypr 10 mg tab for my heavy bleeding to regulate my heavy bleeding will this med. really work i thought this med. is to start your period not stop or slow it down so can you help me out and let me know thank you

my cycle has been on now for 25 days i've been on provera for 8 days i have 2 left im wondering when will the heavy bleeding stop someone please help me i've read some of the other women ?'s do we ever get answered

on my second round of 14 days of provera.still bleeding,sometimes heavy.schuduled for a d and c procedure.what exactly is this and how will it stop regulate my periods?

I don't know your age, if you're premenopausal, then have they checked for fibroids or endometriosis? I'm post menopausal and bled heavily for 14 days before the doc started me on apo-medroxy... I don't know if that has the same action as Provera?? but mine slowed down after 5 days, and although I have now been bleeding for 31 days.. it has dried up to just a trickle for the last week, which is certainly manageable but I wouldn't want to see a younger woman live like this... so definitely return to your doc for more info. good luck :)

I have been on this for 6 days and I just started my period. The doctor said it will help with my bleeding but I haven't noticed that happening. I have to use 2 tampons and a pad and change every 2 hours. I was wondering if this medican works. The only thing it has done to me so far is make me very sleepy and give me a headach. Should I give it a few weeks. I am suppose to take it 21 days and started it on the 1st. thank you.....

I am 68yrs old started spotting over 8 yrs had 2 D&C last was August 2014, since the my condition worsen. My Dr gave Medroxypr Ac 10mg . Went to the hosp They gave me IM Depo provera , there is no improvemt Should I countine the Medroxypr 10mg and finish the medication.

I started taking MEDROXPR AC10 MG end of October 2015. I was prescribed this after they found a long growth in my uterus that may have been the cause some very light bleeding and I only noticed it once. I told my family doctor and he freaked out since I am in Menopause at 60 yrs old. Sent me to an OB/GYN After testing, she removed the growth, did a D&C and put me on this medication to take everyday for one full year. (There is no Endometriosis present) I am to go back in Oct. to see if this hormone has done it's job. It has been no picnic though I can tell you. Weight gain, hair loss, mood swings, temper etc. I can not wait to go off this drug come OCT 2016. The specialist told me that if this didn't work we could try it as a uterine implant. or consider hysterectomy to avoid the possibility or Uterine Cancer or Endometriosis down the road. Any advice is appreciated here.
