Meditator/ketamine For Depression (Page 2)

Updated

I will go to the states to take ketamine treatment for depression. Ketamine is probably a great pill for depression, as recent research indicated. By the way, i am searching for friends who may have the same problem and same opinion--want ketamine--in states. I already tried to commit suicide 4 times. I entered in Japanese military forces for about 6 months, I've done Shikoku Henro meditation everyday 2-8 hours. i don't exercise everyday, due to these struggles. My mind is so much better. However, I feel my limit recently. final solution is ketamine, i recognized.

Why I still have heavy problem, maybe I try to juggle too much heavy stress simultaneously. these stressors make me really sick. If you are interested in my article, be my friend please?

You can post back on here. {edited for privacy}. Anyway I have to go to the states as soon as possible.

I've already done everything, Counseling, Exercise, CBT, Military Experience, Meditation. Certainly especially Exercise and Meditation improved my brain function so much better. But I also realized my brain is too crazy because of my inability to feel human affection. For sure I have some kind of Asperger combined with ADHD. Namenda which works on NMDA receptors on the brain make me so much better as well. In the future there will be brand new anti depression remedies which work on NMDA receptors and Oxytocin receptors. If you're disappointed with SSRI's, I recommend you to try Namenda (Memantine). It is unlike ketamine so it will never make you see illusions (Psychedelic effect). It is a great pill and I should inform you that Tricylic anti depression remedies are so much better than SSRI. I have been the person with no capacity of feeling affection and kindness from human beings because of brain abnormarity. lol

I tried Ketamine. I'd just fallen into a K hole then at other times just a little bit getting better. Maybe it is too strong then, also I think Ketamine wont be a brand new anti depression medication in the future. I guess Namenda or some kind of no capacity of being addiction medication like improved opioid category medication. Now I think it's better for the patient just to use marijuana rather than taking an SSRI.

Ketamine after using it for a year has destroyed my bladder and uterus. It is an experimental drug that works but the end result will kill you. Stay away from it.

Hi Toshi I have had treatment resistant depression for over 30 years. I had my first IV infusion of Ketamine yesterday. Won't know for two more treatments if it will work. I know how miserable it can make a person feel. Maybe look into the possibility of IV Ketamine as it has been very effective. The pills from the pharm companies - I have not heard that they help, but if they're all you can get, they might be worth trying. My doctor says they don't work and you have to get the IV, but who knows. Good luck, seriously, I wish for your relief.

Ketamine is expensive where I live (Seattle). I'm getting IV infusion and the whole thing costs $4000. If I didn't have a relative who would pay I would not be able to afford it as I am too depressed to work. I still don't know if it will work...I will know in 4 days. Don't know what I'll do next if it doesn't as it is obviously the latest and most groundbreaking.

My psychiatrist in Seattle treated me like a drug seeker too. I went along with his theory at first, then decided it was just his opinion, and that I was the one who had to live with the misery of depression. I decided to go for it; I've had one infusion and will need two more before we know if it will work. My point: do what is best for you. The doctors don't know everything. This is cutting edge and is working for people.

USED UP- I am Canadian and a nurse-I DO NOT AGREE that healthcare s only for some _IT IS FOR EVERYONE!!!! I believe this as most of our older health care professionals.....BUT come soon!!!!

We r very concerned in changes and worry a greedy government may bring us back to private healthcare. NO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Also-Canada has "approved" drugs as in STATES eg. ketamine and others are okay for depression in States.....it is OFF LABEL in Canada still...so need to find very LIBERAL psychiatrist-I am still looking-10 years later....but hopefully this will get better for meds as numbers increase to rise at an alarming rate.......BUT hospital IS PAID FOR THROUGH YOUR TAXES-this is a HUGE positive!!!!!! I am praying for us all....and will post possible psychiatrists that you may try....around my area...Toronto,Hamilton and Niagara Canada-God Bless

Hi Toshi. I live in the states and will be trying Ketamine infusions at a clinic in my area in April. I have struggled with PTSD for three years. Please keep in touch. I know this is not easy. And we need to stick together. :)
