Yes, the most commonly used on is the one Carrie has listed, it is a generic for Bactrim. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, non-allergic skin rash, and joint/muscle aches.

If someone does not respond to it, or is allergic to it, others can be used, but this is generally the first and best option.
