Metoprolol Tartrate 25 Mg Come In Different Pill Sizes?

Is Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg tab drug ID white round with M 18 the same as Metroprolol tartrate 25 mg white round tab /1 the same medicine? One pill is twice as big as the other and I don't understand how they could be the same?

Yes, it is also 25mgs of Metoprolol, a generic for Lopressor.

The reason it is larger is more than likely just due to the types of fillers that manufacturer uses, they do have a wide variety they can pick from and they will affect the size of the tablets.

Some of the most common side effects of this medication include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and diarrhea.
