Metoprolol Er 50mg Tab Par (Page 2)

My Metoprolol ER 50 is oval with a line for splitting. On the other side is 369. Is this Metoprolol? Can't find that description for Metoprolol.

You may want to review the list of side effects on the Watson lab version instead of masking a serious symptom such as abdominal pain... Keep records of new symptoms and your BP readings with dates indicating the date you began the different version. Notify your physician of these symptoms as well as your insurance provider.

I was taking Metoprolol 25mg twice a day. Doctor switched me to 50mg of the time release version, I split the pill and take half in am and other in pm. Since it is time released couldn't I just take 50 mg in am and not have to split the pill?

Can I take one half of a Metoprolol succinate extended-release 50 mg pill? It's a round white tablet imprinted with 831. I only ask because it's extended release.

I take my 50mg metoprolol er in the am and at night my heart rate speeds up. Could I split it and take 25mg day and night to help levels stay more stable?
