Lyrica Class Action Lawsuit

If you have had an adverse reaction to Lyrica, please contact a law firm. I just called mine and gave them my basic information, and they will be having a lawyer contact us. This drug is dangerous, deadly, and should be pulled from the market. Amomg all the usual issues, today i noticed a new one had been added. For males, sperm motility can be affected and children created by parents using Lyrica, there is the possibility of birth defects. Please call and at least get on record with this firm. The more of us who call and tell our stories, the more likely it is that the drug company is going to have to cover our medical expenses, pain and suffering, etc.

What is the current update on the class action suit? I have had lots of issues with lyrica and neurontin and then insurance quit paying for neurontin putting me in gabapatin . The Dr tried to fix the problems that I am complaining about my increasing mydosages and sending me fir more MRIs and ct scans. Really frustrated and confused. Please help. .

OMG!!! I have almost All of the problems I've read! Does anyone have Lumps, starting as tiny lumps and turning into shaped egg tumors? My Dr. said it was varicose veins. He said it was fluid, his nurse said it might be fatty tumors. I started having the tiny lumps in my groin, and being told by another Dr. that it was a hernia. I wae supposed to have surgery, but the man who was going to put me asleep asked me if I had heart trouble of anykind. I told him that it fluttered rapidlyat times. there was also Angina heavy pressure in mychest, and pain that would be in my arms, the pain would go up into my face. It was aganey. I've lost my life. I'm still married, but there is no loving feelings from my husband. I havn't had sex in years. I had a cleaning business, one by one I lost jobs. My business is gone. I can't drive any more, I'm afraid of everything. I rarely go shopping. I'm too weak. Im on a walker now. I lost my positions in my church. I't hurt so bad that I stopped going. This was the most tragic thing in my life.I come out to go to my dr. I don't want to do that, but I need my mmeds. Please someone talk to me. I lost my teeth, ALL of them, I had abeautiful smile. Now I have dentures sores in my mouth,along with constant yeast infections from my mouth to my lucy. please, someone answer my, I've been crazy for years. Councining, shrink, and more meds.

I was but on LYRICA in 2008ish for fibromyalgia. 2010 was increased and again in 2012. As the years went on my health went down hill along with worsening depression. I committed suicide in 2012. I say I committed because I was found no heartbeat and no pulse, it wasn't a try. My councilor would kill me if she knew I said that. Anyways, I was found and CPR done, what did they do, increased my LYRICA. I gained a crap load of weight, legs and feet so swollen for a week at a time before able to just get out for one day. Ended up with pericardial effusion and plural effusion. I want to know also is there any current lawsuits going on. I live in Rhode Island. Please help, who do I call?

I am NC and need a lawyer as well. Lyrica has essentially ruined my life. I am covered with lipomas and my memory is wretched... and burning legs -- horrible exhaustion- and my rheumatologist said if I was on 300 mg I would feel better and could lose weight because I would "feel better"- sure whatever...... This drug needs to be PULLED.

I hear ya. Looking for one too. I'm from Rhode Island. They kept telling me I had neurapathy in my feet which I knew I didn't as my husband is a diabetic and has that and our symptoms were nothing like each other. My feet burned so bad. Felt like I was walking on black hot tare barefoot. If you hear of anything on a current lawsuit, please share. I'm thinking of just calling a malpractice lawsuit attorney to see if they know. I am interested in this convo to, to the case It seems to have a permanent now disability. Got told if I wanted to prove it was from lyrica, I would have to take it again. Only issue is that last time I was put into a induced coma and wife told to prepare for the worse

Will keep you posted if I find anything out. Can't believe they want you to go on it a again just to prove it especially with what you went through. I have a lawyer here in Rhode Island that handled my disability case. I am going to contact them as they also handle malpractice and personal injury. We will all get to the bottom of this with team work!

Yeah I am Brisbane, Australia. I have found case studies where lyrica has caused issues in trials. But it's not gonna be a easy scenario considering well for myself the complexity of my now situation. But as the saying goes,many hands make light work

Unfortunately my lawyer doesn't handle class action lawsuits but gave me the name of another lawyer who does. I contacted them and they replied "we are not taking anymore Lyrica cases at this time". Another road block but the way they said that it made me think something is up. I'm still looking.

I am in Canada and have been taking Lyrica for 6 months. I am scared to come off of it but am also having the side effects with my memory, terrible depression and suicidal thoughts, weight gain, poor concentration and so on. Can someone connect me with a lawyer to speak to?

Unfortunately all of us who have had terrible side effects from Lyrica are all looking for the same thing, a lawyer who will take this drug company on. For those who are not familiar with the drug company Pfizer, it is the biggest maker in the United States. I think most lawyers are afraid of them and have a preconceived notion that a lawsuit against them will be lost anyway so they don't want to get involved. I read they were sued sometime around 2012-2013 and the class action suit is closed. I'm not sure if we can open another or not. But I will not give up looking. I think with your doctors approval of course you should consider stopping the Lyrica. For most all of us on this thread have had many of our symptoms go away and then there are others who have permanent medical conditions. Please discuss with your doctor if you are having side effects!! Stopping it is the easiest part. Having so many mental and physical effects is the hardest part.

I'm so so sorry! I'm a 43 year old married mother of 2, never had drug problems before, and tried 4 times to seriously end my life whilst on Lyrica, along with much self harm. Only during the 5 years I was on it, not in the years before or the last year off it. I only was able to stop it cold turkey whilst in a coma for 2 weeks and the withdrawals after that were horrendous. Please know that it truly does make you just want to kill yourself, and it's not from anything else… I'm so so sorry again.

I would definitely join a law suit on behalf of our daughter who sadly took her life & was on Lyrica and Cymbalta for a few years & suffered from suicidal thoughts its its only now in 2023 that we know that these are major side effects of these drugs.
I don't want other families to go through what happened to our daughter

Lyrics almost killed me on 2 different occasions, this medication should NOT be on the market. I have reached out in the past to a few attorneys and was told that there was no suit currently, but I will be following up with this firm

I have talked to lawyers all over Michigan and I finally had one explain to me why nobody will take our cases. I was told because my side effects did not lead to death, I can’t prove that these side effects will last forever. So pretty much because I did not die or have a “extreme” side effect like loosing a limb or becoming permanently paralyzed he said the case is not worth lawyers time. We would not win enough money to make it worth their time. I couldn’t believe it! I was 28 and not able to function every side effect listed. I had to use a walker and I could go on and on and my case wasn’t worth his time!! Not only that I was misdiagnosed in the first place when they first put me on Lyrica. I am so disappointed
