Lyrica 150 Mg, Nightly Legcramps Still With Lyrica 75mg,hwat Elsecan I Do?

nighly legcramps often both,lasting awihle and very painful,
take and took many years in addition MAGnesium 3oo-400mg
this happens only in bed at night!!!awful
took also somthing given for parkinson-
i feel Lyrica is not what i need, thanks ingebroesel

Hi, sorry about the problem that you're having.

Have your potassium levels been checked?

A low potassium level has also been known to cause night time leg cramps, so the solution could be as simple as taking a low dose supplement, or increasing your dietary intake of Potassium.

I suffered from them for many years, as well, until it was discovered that my potassium levels were very low.

After 7 years of searching for a dx (without insurance and I was desparate), a research physician diagnosed me with "genetic restless leg syndrome"; Most dr's I've ran into told me, "I don't know why you have these sensations", "it's a mystery and somethings people have to just live with it" (which I refused! I needed answers). Since some Drs are not familiar and not sure how to treat it especially since there is NO treatment, the only thing a caring Dr can do is to give you the quality of life. All my lab tests came back normal. Later found out my grandmother who passed away when I was very young had exact same symptoms as I did; however, never diagnosed since that was ancient times and grandmother diagnosed herself with stress/hard life result. Anyway, please go see a sleep specialist and see one that would listen. I'm sorry to tell you but if you have what I have, the only thing Dr can do is to make your life livable by rxing you Narc. Pain meds. Just one low dose at night can help in your case. My case, I have these attacks all over my body all day long , SEVERE at night.
