Doglover Says:

I have recently started Losartan for my BP and it is working well. I also take doxepin for insomnia. I have had to increase by doxepin dosage due to increased anxiety/panic and insomnia. Do these side effects subside as I get acclimated to the Losartan?

That can be a normal side effect, as reported by the FDA and yes, it should subside, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take about 4 to 5 weeks.

Other typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination.

Is there anything else I can help with?

The increased dosage of doxepin helped the anxiety and I am feeling better.
