Losartan Hctz 100 25 Mg Change In Appearance

On my prescription for Losartan/HCTZ 100-25mg last month the pill was teardrop shaped and yellow. I just had it refilled and the pill is rectangular, white, and has ZD 19 stamped on it. I think the pharmacy made a mistake. I have not taken them. Please advise!!!

No, they haven't made a mistake, this tablet also contains 100mgs of Losartan and 25mgs of Hydrochlorothiazide, which are commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

It is common for a pharmacy to switch, depending on whatever company is offering the cheapest price, at the time they have to restock their supply. It's how they keep their prices as low as possible, for their customers that don't have insurance.

Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, so they have a few different companies they can order from to stock their shelves.

Is 1 tablet of Losartan - Hctz 100 - 25 mg the same as 1 tablet of Teveten Hct 600 / 12.5 mg

Doctor prescribed Losartan HCTZ 100/12.5 mg, but Express Scripts filled it with Losartan HCTZ 100/25 mg; this prescription written as once per day. Should I cut the tablets in half?

I'm taking Losartanhctz/10-25 also I'm taking 2-a day of DiltiazCD-180/24 cap. My blood pressure has been good for couple years! Is this too much Blood Pressure medication? I was on Metropolo Meds too, I stopped them ( a Beta- Blocker)? Help!

ordered Losarten HCT 50/12.5 New med is white oval with sz349 on tab. Previous was white round smaller taab withl146.
