MY DOCTOR SAID THEY DONT MAKE LORCET 10/650 AND I HAVE BEEN ON THIS MEDICATION FOR SEVERAL YRS. WHAT SHOULD I DO OR IS IT TRUE ## Hello, Denise! How are you? Yes, it is true. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts of Acetaminophen, plus the risks of overdose, the FDA requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in all combination prescription medications to no more than 325mgs per dose. Learn more Norco details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Lower dosages will be available, you can still get the different doses of Hydrocodone, but they will all be coupled with n...

I have been taking my pain meds for over 3 months as prescribed but my recent urine test came back negative. I have had the same problem before with another doctor and they stopped all medicine! I weigh only 88lbs with a very high metabolism rate. Could this have anything to do with these results? I even took to pills right before I went for my visit just to be sure it does show up in my system! What is going on???

is it the same as Norco ## Yes, they are both just brand names used by different companies for medications that contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone in different dosages. It is a narcotic analgesic, so this medication has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. light green watson 503 ## This is generic Lorcet, Lortab, Vicodin. It has 10mg of hydrocodone, (addictive and strong narcotic pain killer), and 650mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol.) It is used for moderate to severe pain and can cause constipation, stomach aches, (especially if taken without food), euphoria, marked drowsiness, dizziness. ## A note that I want to add here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. There are major concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the toxicity of overdose. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and the rest are e...

light green and oblong in shape ## I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS WAS THE SAME AS 503 ## Watson 503 is a generic for the narcotic analgesic Lorcet, it contains Acetaminophen 650mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs. Unfortunately, I cannot find any listing in the US prescription drug databases for a Watson 509. ## Have been using the Watson green 503 for severe back pain for a long time, with great results. It really relieved my back pain. The company has changed the formula and the 503 is now white in color. It is no more than taking a vitamin-can't tell that my back pain is relieved at all. Please go back to the old formula like the light green was.

I'm in withdrawal. how long does it take? ## There is no certain answer to this, it depends on how long you have been taking it and how much you have been taking. It can vary from several days to as much as 2 weeks. ## i would like to know how long withdrawl takes from roxicodone ## just deal with it. I have had to withdrawl from just about everything and they are not hard to deal with. Drink plenty of water, make sure you eat- even if you puke, deal with the pain and there will be pain! ## Hi, im a 37 yr old male and have been addicted to lortab 10 (Watson blue) for almost three years.. I regularly take generic Lorcet (hydrocodone 10/650) for migraines and fibromyalgia. I just started using a different pharmacy. I am used to an oblong blue pill. This new Rx is a white oblong pill imprinted with 1P 114. BUT there wasn't a manufacturer name on the patient info pages or on the bottle. The pharmacist said it's just a different manufact. than I'm used to. I just want to make sure because I have checked several other websites (sorry!) and can't find it. Please help - don't want to take the wrong pill!! Thanks!! ## I am very concerned about this same tablet. I have been taking generic Lortab (Hydrocodone-APAP 10-500) for pain management off and on for several years. My newest prescription was filled by CVS with this tablet imprinted with IP 119. Will Lorcet and Lortab show up separately (aka differently) on a urine drug test? ## Both of the medications you named contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so they would both be detected as Hydrocodone on a urine drug screen. My doctor gave me these and told me he could prescribe them because they had such a low dose of hydracodone in them that, being a non-narcotic doctor, Id bot have to drive to pick up a script paper. Yet I'm seeing people on here say its just acetaminaphin. What is it, please? L014? ## These tablets contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen, they are generic, or store brand of Tylenol. They don't contain any narcotics of any type and are available over the counter. Learn more Acetaminophen information here. There really is no such thing as narcotic and non-narcotic doctors. Except for in certain cases of addiction treatment, any doctor can prescribe a narcotic for pain to their patients, they just have to be careful to log the prescriptions and follow the relevant laws. i have been on 7.5mg lorcet for 5 years now i have had back and neck surgery the doctor has me on 90 a month an sometimetimes i still hurt so bad because 3 a day is just not working anymore what do i do ## Have you talked to your doctor about it? It is completely normal for your body to get used to any given dosage of a medication, if you have been taking it for a long period of time and for you to require a dosage adjustment, or a switch to a different medication. Your doctor should be well aware of this, some medications work quite well for some people for a long period of time and it seems that was the case for you, if you've been taking it for 5 years, already.

I've taken 5 lorcets this week if i stop today because I have a drug test it to 2 weeks will i pass ## Lorcet contains Acetaminophen coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone, which like most other narcotics is usually detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. There is no way, however, to give a precise time frame, because it will always vary from person to person, depending on individuating factors, such as your metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. Are there any other questions or comments?

how long does it take lorcets to show up in your system having a drug test and havent taken all of my meds. so now doc wants drug test today ## It usually only takes 20 minutes to half an hour, or so, about the same time it does for them to start breaking down in your body and having their intended effect. However, the problem you may run into is not having the proper levels in your body. If you are prescribed a certain amount to be taken at a certain dosing duration, then your levels should fall within a certain range and anything outside of that range can alert your doctor to a problem. Are there any other questions or comments?

I drug test once a month an I ran outta my 500mg vics . So i need to know if lorcets 1000's show up as the same thing as a Vic on a drug test . ## There are not Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone tablets on the market that contain 1,000mgs of anything. They are available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 750mgs of the Acetaminophen. That said, the narcotic, which is what they are testing for, is the same in both, however, if they are checking the levels of it, then that may be off and can alert them to a problem. When you are prescribed a certain dosage, to be taken at a certain dosage frequency, then your levels should fall into a certain range. Anything outside of that range shows them that you may be taking too many, or aren't taking them. Is there anything else I can...

I have been taking HYDROCO/APAP TAB 10-650 TH the description on the bottlte says "blue scored oblong tablet side 1: M361 Side 2: The pills I rec'd are a smaller oblong white pill with a large V on one side ane other side is scored with 35 on one side of score and 92 on other side of score. These do not give me any relief what does the description tell you? ## The V 3592 is acetaminophen/hydrocodone 500 mg/5 mg. ## That is correct, the tablets with the 3592 V marking are a lower strength, containing only 5mgs of the Hydrocodone and 500mgs of the Acetaminophen. Have you contacted your pharmacy about this? ## Yes I did contact the pharmacy twice and the pharmacist both times claimed that they were the 10/650 just a generic brand by a different drug company, thanks for your reply

How long does lorcet stay in your system. I have to submit to a pee test on Thursday and want to know if I should be concerned ## you sure be concern it have speed in it ## Lorcet stayes in your system 3 to 5 days ,drinking alot of water may help when the drud is on its way out of your system. ## why do you think lorcet has speed in it? ## Lorcet does not have speed in it! It has either 5mg, 7.5mg or 10mg of hydrocodone, ((vicodin)depending on the strength the doctor prescribed), and either 325mg, 500mg or 650mg of acetaminophen, (tylenol), (again..depending on what your doctor prescribed.) You should be concerned as this opiate narcotic can stay in your system for well over two weeks. it can be traced through your hair follicles and blood work for up to one month. ## nenene123 is 100% ...
