I have undergone loose motion since last Sunday which is the dated on 10/04/2011 and the particular I had loose stools three times immediately after taking food. Then I took 2 nos.of anti-diarrhoea capsules bought from a retail outlet called "ASDA" supermarket. The active ingredient of this medicine is "Loperamide Hydrochloride" 2mg and others. it recommends 2 capsules immediately after first loose motion and 1 tablet for subsequent motions. First I took 2 capsules and 1 after the 2 nd loose motion. As a remedy I stopped taking heavy meals and had 4 slices of toated thick white bread with a banana and a cup of thick black coffee with a bit of sugar. For dinner, I had 4 or 5 slices of toasted thick white bread with a bowl of tomato soup. Now it is going to be recover and now I go to the toilet only one time and the stools gradually become more solid. So I need to control all the food I have taken before I receive a complete ecovery fro this disorder. So far so good and not yet decided to consult my GP with regard to this trouble. I live in South-East London area and work for the receptionst desk in Central London. Therefore I have to be more concerned about these kind of disorders because it's severely affected to my career. I think the cause of the problem is food pisoning or indigestive meal. However, there are some side effects are occuring like dry mouth, tiredness and dizziness etc after taking this medicine.

Those can be normal side effects to Loperamide.

You can learn more on it here:

As to the diet you are using to try to be careful to alleviate the condition, the only problem in it that I see is the coffee.

The caffeine in coffee is a natural diuretic, which makes your body expel more fluids, so it can actually contribute to the problem. In addition, when you have diarrhea, you have to be careful to avoid dehydration, so rather than the coffee, you should up your intake of water and other non-caffeinated fluids.

Are there any other questions?
