New to the area and looking for a doctor who won't be a pain about prescribing Ritalin or Adderall for adult ADHD.

Well, the best thing you can do is to make an appointment with a new doctor and not ask for any particular medication up front. You need to get in for an appointment first and then discuss your treatment options.

However, since these are controlled substance medications, doctors do have to be careful about prescribing them, so you aren't going to find a doctor that will just be carefree and throw prescriptions at you.
