Long Term Prozac 80mg With 2 Yrs Adderil 30 Mg. Anyone Getting Symptoms Like Ocd, Excessive Sweating, Anxiety?

I have been on Prozac for 20 yrs now and it's been titrated up to my present dosage of 80 mg qd. Dx of ADD about 2 yrs ago. I now take Adderal 30 mg qd. Random periods of gross diaphoresis, hyperventilation, anxiety to the max, the I gotta do something but I don't know what feeling, it's horrible. TF studies WNL. Doc says Cardiology Consult. I don't. Possible that Prozac/ Adderal no longer get along well with me?

Totally possible . You should get on a lower dose of Adderall, and get the extended release, like go down to 20 mg. Funny, about 5 years ago or so, I think I was on 30 of adderall XR, and I felt anxious too. I don't know how I worked my way up to this, but am now on 90 mg. of Adderall per day, no anxiety at all and REALLY helps with Depressive symptoms. I take 30 XR +30 regular in the AM, then 30mg regular about 3pm. Good luck!

It sounds like it's most likely from the Adderall.

It could be that this dosage is just too much for you to take.

Therefore, I have to agree with Paula and suggest that you see about lowering the dosage.

Alternatively, you could also look into trying a different medication.

HOLD IT ,I HAVE SEVERE ADHD, OCD AND ANXIETY/PANIC ATTACKS IM ON 45MGS A DAY. GOOD NEW YES IT HELPS CALM U DOWN YES IT HELPS FOCAS BUT EVEN THOUGH ADDERRAL IS GIVEN EVRY8 HRS IT STARTS TO LEAVE UR BODY AT6 ALSO ASUMING U HAVE ADHD, THE CONDITION GOES ALONG WITH THE OCD FIRST CHECK ON LINE OR WITH UR DR TO SEE IF IT ISA DIAGNOSIS NOT ONLY FROM ADHD MINE IS SEVERE. AND IF U DNT TAKE UR ADDERRAL EVY 6`8HRS N ARE LATE OR FORGET, EVERY SYMPTOM U HAD BEFORE GETTING ON THE RX DOUBLE FOULDS WITH ANXIETY. BEST ADVISE IS TO SET A CLOCK TO 6 OR 7 HRS N TAKE EVERY PIL -ON TIME- THEN IF THE PROB STILL EXISTS TALK TO UR DR. --DO NOT TRY N GO OFF URSELF-
