Lo Loestrin Fe Bleeding After Messing Up Pills

I took one white pill in my pack of lo loestrin fe and then I lost the pack (it had 1 white pill and 2 brown pills left in it). I started a new pack the next day and since then I have been spotting and bleeding light red to brown blood on and off. I am on my third week of pills now and I am still bleeding on and off. I won't be bleeding half the day, but then it will start later on and then stop again.

What do I do? Should I stop the pills and wait for a normal period and start a new pack, or should I continue taking them?

Hello, Akita! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having.

It might be due to the fact that you started new active pills right away. Those last pills in the pack actually have no active hormones in them, so really, you should have just not taking any for that 3 days, then started a new pack when you normally would.

You should double check everything with your doctor, but there's a good chance that this is just due to what I've mentioned and will most likely clear up with your next regular cycle.

Are there any other questions or concerns?
