Lipicure 10 Discontinue Advice

I have been taking Lipicure 10 for a month now to lower my cholesterol. It was 265 and now its 180. Is it advisable to discontinue the medication as my cholesterol levels are back in the normal?

Have you also made changes to your diet to help lower your cholesterol and are you making sure that you're getting enough exercise?

The reason I am asking is because if the medication is solely what has brought down your cholesterol numbers, then it can just as easily start going back up, if you stop taking it.

However, if you've made other lifestyle adjustments then it may stay down.

What does your doctor think?

I had made changes in my diet earlier and even used to exercise but not that was irregular due to work constraints.
I'm keeping the same diet and do occasionally workout. I have to see my doc now. He was thinking of stopping for a month or two to watch if the cholestrol would spike again.
