All the images I've found for Librium 25 mg have the "barr" on the green side and the "159" on the white side? Mine have the opposite. Does it vary? Does it matter? ## Hello, Dawn! How are you? The picture I'm viewing right now in the image database has barr on the white side and the 159 on the green…but no, it doesn't matter anyway, there is no specific way it has to be, as long as it has the proper imprint. Is there anything else I can help with?

After having been on it for such a long period of time, a careful tapering schedule is most likely going to be needed to prevent your having withdrawal issues and rebound effects. Have you talked to your doctor about it? They should be able to help you discover a tapering schedule that will work for you and minimize any possible problems.

My dr put me on a librium taper on Wednesday of last week. I felt great for two days. Unfortunately I blew it with Super Bowl weekend etc and drank a lot Friday to sunday. Any way yesterday and today I went back to my taper but it doesn't seem to be as effective. Did I completely ruin my taper by drinking and taking librium? What should I do? Tx. ## What did you do while you were drinking? Did you go back to your original dose? I am not understanding what would have disrupted your taper. Drinking when you're taking any medication isn't advisable, however, I am sure you're already aware of that. So I'm on a 25mg librium taper 4 times a day. I blew it and drank heavily for 10 days. Stopped today but my normal dose seemed to give me anxiety increasing throughout the day. Is this alcohol withdrawal or my benzo no longer working? ## I'm nor sure I understand exactly what you're saying. Did you not take any of the medication while you were drinking for that 10days? Did you go back to your prior normal dose? And what Benzo are you talking about? You didn't mention which you're taking. ## I was on librium. I found these pills mixed in with some Librium 10 mg capsules I have. The 10 mg capsules are half mint green, half dark green/black with RCDP and 10 imprinted on them. The capsules in question have a light green half and a white half with no imprint. These pills are from the UK. Looking online I found Librium 25 mg capsules matching these unknown ones I have but all those pictures show clear markings, these pills have no imprint at all. ## Hi Nate, Thanks for the thorough information. My guess is that the imprint wore off over time. There really is no way to identify a pill without an imprint, so if they look exactly like a different variety of the Librium, they could very well be just that.
