Lexapro vs Citalotram ## Comparing the two drugs Lexapro and Citalopram from my opinion seems to be not much of a difference in strength. I am not an MD, but personally I say Lexapro is the better choice, because the list side effects is minimal compared to the likes of Citalopram. is it safe to take lexapro and chantix ## I wouldn't reccommend taking Chantix and Lexapro at the same time. My doctor prescribed me Lexapro for my anxiety and then a few motnhs later he prescribed me Chantix to quit smoking after about 2 weeks on both drugs after one argument in my personal life. I tried to drive my car into a lake. Luckily I still had a few threads of sanity left enough to stop a foot from the lake call everyone I know and ask for help but I'm still paying for the consequences of that day w/family and friends everyday and it's been over a year ago. I have Graves disease (thyroid problems) and I am taking an SSRI anti-depressant called Lexapro after being changed from Zoloft and I have been having the Tremors for the last 9 months. I have seen a Neurologist and my GP who can't work out why these temors are happening. Can someone please let me know of the newer classes of medications that don't cause the Tremors please, because these tremors are happening 24 hours a day and I can't do the things that I used to be able to do. I have had bad falls because of this and now I mostly stay in bed where up to 9 months ago I was a very high functioning worman.

Does anyone have information about children on lexapro. My daughter just started taking it. She is 8 years old ## um yes i take lexapro since i was 15 in it should help her alot and i am now going on 17 ## my friends taken it since he was 9 and has never had a bad experience with it. as long as her doctor has taken the correct actions in diagnosing it she'll be ok. ## My research and the Doctor that treated my child, Celexa has been found to be the best for children under 18yr.

Has anyone experienced weight gain and are any of you just feeling stuck or unmotivated? I take 20 mg a day and feel bored. When I take Wellbutrin, Prozac and Topomax it made me mean. ## I take Lexapro 10 mg a day and I have gained excessive weight. I have tried Celexa, which I loved. I felt so good the first nine months I was on it, but guess what, it causes excessive weight gain with prolonged use. I have also been on Zoloft, which helped the depression, but I did not feel anything. Everything in my life was whatever. Kind of like the stuck feeling you are describing. I wish there was something that does not cause you to gain weight, lets you feel motivated, and has low sexual side effects. Any clues anyone ## I have taken Paxil and Lexapro. I had a reaction to the first esipram tablet I took and the effect was waking up at 2am and feeling tingling in my hands, increased pulse rate to 96 when it should be about 65-70 and feeling disorientated and feeling very sick, I went through stages of being wide awake but then feeling really tied, my pupils were so dialated that you couldnt see the colour anymore. I ended up going to hospital in fear of it being an allergic reaction. Has anyone eles had these sort of side effects and do they go away? I would like to try it again but through the day to see if it makes a difference, but would like to hear if this has happened to anyone eles first. Thanks
