I take Levsin under the tongue for BPH. The NIH website says people over 65 (aka myself) should usually not take Levsin because it is not as safe and effective as other available medications. Is this something I need to address, or is it not important? ## I found the statement that you were referring to: "talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking hyoscyamine if you are 65 years of age or older. it's a small white oval pill with H13 on one side and 274 on the other ## You are looking at one side of the pill upside down, the marking is actually ETH, is it made by Ethex Pharmaceuticals. This is Hycosamine Sulfate 0.125mgs, a generic for Levsin, this is used to treat gastrointestinal problems.
