Hello,

I'm interested in trying leptoprin/leptopril but have a low platelet count for reasons the hematologist cannot determine. Are there any ingredients that would act as blood thinners in this drug? Thank you

This is not a drug, it is an over the counter supplement that's claimed, but not proven, to aid in weight loss. Since such products aren't evaluated for such, I am afraid I don't have this information for you.

However, I'd say it would likely be best to err on the side of caution and not take it, until your doctor can discover what is causing your problem.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello and thanks for your reply. I guess my main concern is if there are any aspirin type ingredients in this OTC. Thanks again!

Is Leptoprin still on the market? If so, where came you find it? I lost 20 pounds when I first took Leptoprin but now I can't find it.
