Late Delivery Of BactiumUpdated
I placed an order with BioGenetics on 1st August 2011 for 6 bottles of Bactium. The total amount was deducted from my account immediately and at no time was I told that the full order would not be sent at once. Over 3 weeks later 2 bottles arrived and after a number of phone calls which appeared to be in Asia somehwere, was informed the balance of the order was on back order. It is now 14th October and I am still waiting for the balance of the order which I was told 1 week ago it had been sent and would arrive this week, which surprise surprise has not arrived. I regret that I did not look on this Web site to find out that this is a sham. Anyone who is contemplating buying from this company and Swiss Lab Products "DON'T' touch them.
I also ordered a large supply of Bactium via their Toll Free "risk free" line. Well, guess what. four months later and still no bottles have arrived and they have not had the courtesy to even reply when i sent the first email. the very next day after the first email, guess what? my credit card was illegally accessed and over $300 of purchases, obviously by a male, Car , internet cafe and bicycle shop purchases. on sending further emails to this company customer service, still no reply, even though this is the only suspicious/out of character purchase that i have made. Still waiting on even 1 bottle but not holding my breath. wish i had read this site first so never, ever buy from this company again.
Like you and I, there are probably lots of people who are in the same position as us with not getting what they paid for. It is now the 24th October and still no delivery or word from the company. I went online and sent an email to Swiss Labs to see what they had to say but as yet no reply from them either. I have notified my bank with regards any more deductions from my account and keep an eye on internet banking just in case. It has cured me from ever buying online from a overseas company. I should have been suspicous when enquiring where my delivery was and the call centre seemed to be in Malaysia somwhere. If this delivery does by some chance turn up, I will notify the site but I am not holding my breath.
Hi Lyn, thanks for the reply. Today i sent a "contact us" email to Nutricel, who were the people who sent the "confirmation of your order"WGEKG email in the first place. it will be interesting to see whether or not they bother to reply and what happens. i am not holding my breath. like you i am now hesitant to ever send any orders to overseas sellers.

I ordered my Bactium by telephone so didn't get any confirmation other than an order number which I quoted when I made numerous telephone calls demanding that I speak to the company in USA. They were able to bring up my order and were able to tell me that I had already been sent 2 bottles. I had no way of knowing if the person was in USA as I was transferred from the Asian consultant. They could have been anywhere in the world. The postage stamp on the package says it was sent from Sweden so it gets more confusing. The thing that worries me is, is the product genuine. Other than having the capsules laboratory tested to see what they contain, I am worried about taking them again as Swiss Labs have not bothered to reply to confirm they are the manufacturers.
I also ordered by phone and would advise anyone not to do this because of the security issues with this. You would not believe this, but when I got home from shopping this morning, I had a surprise delivery waiting. The entire order was there and I would guess that this was sent when my first email was sent complaining that I had not received anything from them. They have sent no emails to explain anything or to respond to the fact that their security on credit card purchases is compromised. I guess that I got the whole thing in one go is because they are aware that I will no longer be a continuing customer. They cannot automatically bill me as the card was quickly canceled. Hope that your order comes in soon. If you wish to have the email details for customer service, then I will send this to you. I wonder if the Nutricel email that I sent yesterday will get a reply?
Thanks for your update and so glad you have at long last received your order. My concern is with what is in the capsules. With not having any response from the company and credit card concerns, are the capsules the real thing? That is why I contacted Swiss Labs but still no word from them. I as yet, have not received anything but as we live in a rural area and only receive mail 3 times per week, will wait until weeks end and if they haven't come by then, I will make contact with the customer service address you gave. Thank you for that. Will let you know if and when they arrive.
Hi Lyn, I am sorry but i cannot help you with what is inside the capsules except what is on the container. According to their label it contains:
Lactobacillus Acidophilus 10 billion
Bifidobacterium bifidum 10 billion
Bifidobacterium lactis 2 billion
Lactobacillus plantarum 2 billion
bifidobacterium breve 1 billion
Here in Australia we can get Inner Health Plus which also has 25 billion but has only Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium with Colostrum in their capsules. This is why I wanted the Bactium as they have more varieties of the normal probiotic flora in their capsules. I have concerns about the potency of their caps as they made no effort to seal the bottles in heat protection for the shipping. Time will tell if they are effective and i have stored them in the fridge now. hope this has been helpful Lyn.
Yes, I read the label on the container when the first 2 bottles arrived to see the comparison with Inner Health and was pleased to see they had more ingredients and with that, was prepared to have a continuous order placed with the company. I told the sales person when I queried where the rest of the order was that I was very disappointed with their business practices and that I would not be placing any further orders with the company for any of their products. I also live in Australia (WA) and if my order does not arrive, there is a GP/Natural Practitioner in Perth who supplies practitioner strength Probiotics who I will be ordering from. I am just annoyed with the large amount of money paid for nothing.
The balance of my order (4 bottles) finally arrived yesterday. 16 WEEKS after placing and paying for my order. There was no letter of apology for the delay in the order. Lesson learnt - will not purchase from this company again.
Hi Lyn, I am glad that you have finally received your outstanding order and yes, like you, I had no acknowledgment that my delivery had not arrived nearly three months overdue. They also did not bother to acknowledge that they have a major security problem with people in their organization scamming customer's credit cards. Let people be aware that this is not a company that you would want to do any business with at any time and that they trade under numerous titles. I have definitely learnt my lesson. Hope that all goes well for you Lyn and this stuff works for you.
Just to add, what I have done in the past in such situations is to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge(s). It is a real pain when your CC# is taken and used in an unauthorized way, because then the bank has to change your card # and send you a new one (not to mention funds being temporarily unavailable!). I'm really glad I read this thread because it has made me aware and weary of ordering from any site which has such poor communication!
tHANK YOU FOR YOUR E-MAILS FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE ORDERED THE SAME PRODUCT AS i DID. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY BACTIUM AFTER I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE IT WITHIN 21 DAYS. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN THAT TIME AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING. I ONLY ORDERED ONE MONTH SUPPLY BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW HOW SUCCESSFUL IT WOULD BE. THEY BEGGED ME TO ORDER MORE BOTTLES BECAUSE IT WOULD BE CHEAPER BUT I REFUSED BECAUSE I HAD HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH SOMEONE OVERSEAS WHOSE LANGUAGE I DID NO QUITE UNDERSTAND. I'M STILL TRYING TO CONTACT THE COMPANY BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THEIR COMPUTER WAS DOWN AND COULDN'T GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHEN IT WAS SENT. WELL I 'M STILL WAITING. So sorry Fadey that you are having the same problem with your delivery as a lot of people have had. The balance of my order did end up arriving a long time after is should have. I am really disappointed in this company. They keep sending me pamphlets with their list of products but I just return them and will never order from them again. I wasn't overly happy with the product I did receive and was tempted to have it analysed to see just what it did contain but it was too expensive to be bothered with. I sourced a product that is made here in Australia called POLYBAC 8 made by Nutrition Care which is excellent and much better value than Bactium. It is a Practitioner line but if you go to a Naturapath, you may be able to get it through them. Good luck with your order, but after all this time, I would be surprised if you did receive it.
Thanks for the comments! I wanted to find out if this stuff was really worth pursuing, but it seems it causes more headaches instead of improving health. hope you all find products that meet your expectations and customer service that's up to par.
