Kratom And 12 Panel Urine Drug Test - Methadone False Positive?

My son who is in recovery has been using Kratom. We performed a 12-panel urine drug test which came back positive for methadone but no opiates. He is not taking any other meds that I know of that would cause a false positive. I’m wondering if anyone has ever had a positive methadone result while using Kratom?

Just last week my urine drug test showed meth. A false positive. Freaked me out cause I don't do drugs. I was told kratom doesn't show up but evidently it shows up as false positive. Never had that problem before and have been taking for a while now. Very weird.

How are you 100% sure he hasn’t taken methadone? Kids aren’t honest with their parents.

There is a parolee who is a client at local suboxone clinic. He has stated he uses kratom and gets caught on their required drug tests. I find it strange his parole officer either hasn't been testing or the state uses a different test panel from the suboxone clinic.

Yes I am also on Kratom and take nothing else took the 12panel drug test and came back positive for methadone. I take Kratom to get off painkillers and it's a lifesaver. I have no cravings for painkillers or alcohol or even marijuana to tell you the truth now the dam FDA is wanting to take it away and make it illegal. I think the only reason why is. Because it's cutting into there profits in the pain pills and they see this

I also use Kratom and tested positive 3 times for methadone on a store bought 12 panel test. I have read this should not happen and asked my seller about this. He said his Kratom is tested and nothing is put in it and is pure and organic. Don't know why it tests positive for methadone. Kratom has been a lifesaver for me. Helps my pain more than any pain meds I have ever taken with no high or any side effects.

I’ve never popped for methadone these people who claim they did are either lying or have something else in their system or have tampered kratom.
